Read the Stories Through the Words of the Collectors
Elisa Valenti Studio’s Collectors' Stories
I was drawn to Elisa's art by the gorgeous color palettes, botanical features, and feminine lines. I connected to her work even more once I discovered the mental health and self esteem issues layered beneath the appealing aesthetic in some of her pieces. Her paintings show that full figured women, women of all shapes and sizes, flawed women, REAL women are strong and beautiful. Elisa's art makes me happy, inspired, and more confident. She is accessible in helping make sure the right pieces make into your home. She also ships them quickly and packages them in a truly lovely and caring manner.
I consider myself extremely fortunate to have original paintings, studies, and prints of Elisa's artwork in my home. My place feels more like me with her creations on my walls and I fall for them a little more each time I look at them.

My husband and I are at the beginning of the process of having a baby via surrogacy, and as two men who might have a little girl, I’ve been thinking about how we can raise her in a context that equips her to deal with the obstacles society tends to put in the way of women feeling comfortable with themselves. (Or, if we have a boy, how to raise him so that he is a good ally to women and is exposed to a heterogeneous definition of female beauty.)
So seeing your joyful images of yourself, and reading your personal story not only about embracing your body, but about embracing your vocation, really resonated with me. Thank you for giving so much of yourself.

Elisa Valenti's depictions of women are quite magical. Though many are technically anonymous, they exude every ounce of power, sensitivity, confidence and joy a woman can possess. I believe that any person can find themselves in an Elisa Valenti painting and, speaking for myself, her work has helped me to see my own body as a work of art. Her paintings embody the idea that art is both an expression of the soul and a healer of the soul. They are a strong yet peaceful affirmation of our own worth and remind me to not only accept my body, but to embrace it.

I am an artist and very particular about the artwork that I myself purchase and display in my home. I recently purchased "Confidence on the Rocks". This picture spoke to me not only because of the beautiful color and the way the water is depicted so convincingly you would think you can dive right in, but because of the subtext. A beautiful woman, outside enjoying a day at the pool with confidence no matter what her body looks like. This is strength, courage, and confidence that I hope to have one day. As a woman I feel my body has been judged no matter my weight (high or low) and especially when pregnant. Strangers make comments and faces and this is a unique experience we have as women that judges us not by our kindness, intellect, or physical strength, but by our appearance. To me this painting reminds me that we don't have to let the way other people view our appearance be the way we see ourselves. Working with Elisa was very easy.
The print came beautifully packaged and well protected. Elisa and I have had several conversations about her art and I feel good about supporting someone with such great talent and insight into the human experience. Her work is getting a lot of coverage in art magazines I subscribe to and I feel like I have made a good investment that will appreciate in value as well as something I thoroughly enjoy looking at every day.

A little over 6 months ago my entire world collided and exploded, everything seemed to happen in slow motion and hi speed all at the same time. One child experienced a mental health crisis that required immediate change, one child's illness turned out to be a life long neuro-psychiatric disorders. My house burned, literally, lost most everything on the 1st floor. My dad's turned pinched nerve was actually cancer that had metastasized to his brain. 15 lovely tumors. My summer of growing my business turned into hotels, hugs, tears, hospitals and hospice. My dad passed, my son found life. Our house is slowly coming together. Learning to live with our daughter's new normal. As I rebuilt my spaces I wanted art that reflected hope, growth, triumph, beauty, soul deep connections. Art that made me, my daughters, my clients feel not only seen but gorgeously heard. That all could connect with regardless of color, size, shape, scars, trauma, that in the moments of gazing at that art they believed in more than the ashes they are rising from. I coach women, I coach them through trauma, transitions, rocks and hard places. I literally hold space for them.
When I saw Elisa's art I knew it would grace our spaces. You see I believe empowerment is the beautiful process in which one believes in someone else's vision of them long enough to believe that vision themselves. Elisa manages to capture that. That every woman can imagine herself as beauty. Her curves enticing, her sway delight. The rounded edges and soft curves hugging and surrounding her strength. Every woman deserves that gift, to see herself as ART. That is Elisa's gift. She sees the masterpiece, when we only see the work in progress.
I am grateful to have her pieces taking up space within my walls.
